My son gave me a $25 gift card for Christmas, so I went to Michaels yesterday(with my 50% off coupon) and bought a melting pot and a bottle of embossing enamel! Came home and started playing.
I punched out my flower petals using the Blossom petals punch (paired with the Build a Blossom stamp set). I used a pencil, and "rolled" the petals. Using tweezers, I dipped the petals in the pot, placed on a piece of mylar to let dry.
The small "button" in the middle was made using a 1" circle punch with daffodil delight ink.
Once the petals cooled and dried, I "cracked"them gently to give cracked glass effect!
From that point, I assembled using very aggressive adhesive. This project was a load of fun!
