Build a Blossom Glass Art

As much as I love Stampin'Up, I always look to do things that you don't see everyday. I used the
Build a Blossom stamp set and blossom petels punch, along with our Fantastic
Designer Series Paper. A little bit of CLEARANCE certainly celery ribbon, and we have one great card, with the addition of some suprises, see below.

My son bought this for me for Christmas and I keep finding all kinds of uses for it. Its a melting pot from Michaels, that I used to "Dip" my flower petals and leaves in.
Just use some thick embossing enamel and your petals take on a Glass Look.

Not a great pic, but you can see them shine.

Now this was really crazy. I made these 1" custom molds from air dry clay, so to make the button part of the flower, i punched 1" circle of So Saffron, added some green shaved carpet fiber,(free carpet samples from any Home Depot) and poured in the melted enamel. they pop right out!

After constructing the DSP and ribbon, I hot glued the flower peices to the card. Worthy for an easal!
